The Victorian Asbestos Eradication Agency (VAEA) was established to prioritise and plan the removal of asbestos from government-owned buildings in Victoria.
We collaborate with Victorian government agencies to develop a best practice plan for prioritised risk-based asbestos removal.
We’re an independent state body reporting to the Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC. We’re also a subsidiary of WorkSafe Victoria, the state workplace health and safety regulator.
